Is she affectionately smirking at Mike, or is she less-amused, & more matter-of-fact, like “Customers ask me for dates all the time”. 2)___Panel_4 is just too hard to believe! How does a tail THAT thin-&-flimsy-looking swipe a full-grown man off his feet, from a standing start???!? I’m just not buyin’ it — Nope-Nope-Nope-Nope-Nosir-Fuggeddaboutit-NotGonnaHappen! 3)___Panel_3: Is Amaya… 3A___really that incompetent as a ‘vamp/flirt’, or 3B___is she THAT contemptuous of males-in-general, or 3C___is she judging him by what she’s experienced of male cat-people, or 3D___is Mike just that mature-&-levelheaded? 4)___How soon will we be learning what’s under that patch on Amaya’s right-arm? Reply Aaron J. on September 6, 2021 at 12:48 pm 1) Louis is looking out for his buddy, like a good friend does #goodguylouis (sorry, not sorry) 1a) Not sure on that one, Bushrat might be wondering the same thing too. 1b) I went through a lot of variations of that smirk, it’s supposed to be affection. whoops! 2) Search your feelings young one, you saw it, you know it to be true!! 3) Amaya is basically thinking on her feet at that point, unfortunately Mike saw through the lie instantly. 4) Oh! It’s a tattoo, obviously, the actual design will be revealed in about three to four pages (we all know it’s there, so I don’t feel bad about divulging that info) Reply DMC_Run on September 9, 2021 at 12:33 am @[Aaron J.]: Re_1)___Yes indeed! #Two_Can_Play_That_Game_Buddy (forgiven, not forgiven) _ 😉 _ 🙂 _ 😛 _ 😀 Re_1a)___Yep, if they can make their escape, they’ll then have to prioritize sharing notes, & bringing each other up to speed. Re_1b)___I was inclined (with much hopefulness) towards “affectionate smirk” myself, based on the timing. Consider… — Having stress-blurted his infatuation, he flees in embarrassment, & when his friends coax him back, he’s greeted at the door by a busty cat-girl, who tries to ‘vamp’ him. In response, not only does he keep his wits about him & resist her … ‘charms’, he does his best to delay her pursuit of his friend — & he does it without being rude to this feline stranger. Altogether a well-done display of how to be a loyal friend who is most-likely NOT an “opportunistic horn-dog”! It would make sense for her to give him a chance, so he can show her just what kind of boyfriend he can be. Re_2)___My response: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syV6lzuMYKI] #You_Just_Had_To_Bring_Star_Wars_Into_It _ 😉 _ 🙂 _ 😛 _ 😀 Re_3)___Good for him! Re_4)___In the original story, I don’t recall ever seeing Lenore’s markings beneath her eyepatch. I assume Bushrat has inherited the same markings, unless it undergoes some subtle modification with each new generation … ? PS: I hope that (eventually) we get some sort of a “family tree” type of time-line. Something that traces-out how Bushrat’s bloodline derives from both Lenore’s as well as the Cartel’s family. Reply DMC_Run on September 9, 2021 at 12:38 am PPS: Yes, I know that my response to was a non-sequitur, but I wanted to fill-out the entire list … & then it overflowed, sorry. Reply Aaron J. on September 23, 2021 at 2:20 pm The facial scar is put there by “outside influence” and even though there is a healing factor, it stays there to remind them of what happened respectively. Bushrat’s is the same way, but he was only a kid when he got his. It doesn’t hurt, however it is obviously noticeable. I believe the “lore-loving crowd” (I’m a lore-head, so we know our own lol) wouldn’t mind a bit of history too. Leave a Reply to DMC_Run Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
